Thursday September 24 - Expo Evening at the Salt Spring Centre School
Imagine driving past organic gardens, a pond, a woodland trail, and arriving at a playground as you enter the grounds to bring your child to school. In this setting, students have plenty of opportunities to explore the natural world, study ecosystems and grow heritage plants.
The school is opening its doors to the community to share what it has to offer and to introduce teachers, students and parents. Hear about the new Leadership Program for the grade 5/6 class, the enrichment programs for all students kindergarten to grade 6 in French, Horticulture, Theatre, Music and Art, and why the school’s motto is “where learning connects the child to the world.”
The expo is from 6:30-8pm. You are invited to come to the school on Blackburn Road, past the golf course. Bring your children and enjoy healthy snacks while touring the school and meeting some of the families at the school. For more information phone 537-9130.
