Their last Salt Spring performance was warmly received two years ago when they played a sold-out, benefit concert during PRIDE celebrations.

Nylons front man Claude Morrison says the group has good memories from their last visit.  “We really get up for Salt Spring audiences because they are enthusiastic, they know the words to the songs, and they really enjoy themselves right from the get go.”

The vibrant, holiday themed, concert will feature seasonal favourites including: White Christmas, Joy To The World, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, and also include their classics such as, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Silhouettes and Up On The Roof.

With over three million in sales and seven gold & platinum recordings, this four member vocal group is a true international success story. Known for their great a cappella sound, dazzling harmonies and smooth arrangements, the group’s immense appeal has taken them across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. The Nylons continue to perform worldwide to passionate audiences and critical acclaim.

Tickets for their Christmas Show are on sale now at the ArtSpring box office at 250-537-2102.  For more information please visit: www.thenylons.com. Partial proceeds will go to support the local Salt Spring chapter of PFLAG, (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people) an international organization that provides support and education on issues of sexual orientation and gender identity.
